BOCO (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides long-term boathouse rentals. We are committed to protecting your personal data and processing it in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch privacy law.

What personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

- Payment and billing information: details necessary to process rental payments and invoices. Card data is handled directly by our payment processor and is not stored by us.
- Technical and usage data: information collected automatically through cookies and analytics, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you use our website.

We have data processing agreements in place with these providers. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Our processors are EU-based. Where any data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data in line with the GDPR.
How long we keep your data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to satisfy legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Financial records are kept for at least seven years as required by Dutch law. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

Children
Our services are not specifically directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without parental consent. If you believe we have done so, please contact us and we will delete the data.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date.
